Odin Digital was originally created in April 2011 under the name of Steady Web Services, and was subsequently re-branded in February 2013. I am based in Preston, Lancashire, and under the trading name of Odin Digital, I offer freelance services for:

• Website Design & Development 
• Digital Marketing

I aim to develop websites that are search engine friendly, whether they are brochure style or eCommerce sites. I have always stuck to the principal that content is all important. It is no use having an all singing – all dancing website if it cannot be found by the search engines – You need a web site that works!

I first built a website for a hotel in Blackpool in 1997 which proved to be a fantastic boost to their business because of it’s top ranking on page 1 of Google. I very soon found that by word of mouth recommendations, my freelance services were very much in demand for other businesses, all gaining Top 30 and in many cases Top 10 positions on Google. 

By December 2004 my list of clients had grown to over 100 active websites covering bespoke HTML, ASP & Access ODB, PHP & MySQL, ColdFusion, and customised eCommerce sites designed with Actinic eCommerce and Cube Cart. A handful of affiliate websites were also developed using the PHPNuke CMS system and Amazon Associates links. 

In November 2004 my own eCommerce site was launched using Actinic eCommerce, in conjunction with an eBay and Amazon store with turnover increasing by 1038% by the end of it’s 2nd year. 

In 2008 I left the web services & eCommerce businesses for personal reasons, returning to digital marketing in the summer of 2010 in the role of Online Marketing Manager for a successful online retailer and began to take on freelance digital work for family & friends, in the name of Steady Web Services. During this time I have expanded my skills to include WordPress, Magento and NetSuite systems, and enhanced my knowledge of Social Media.
